The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) brings substantial changes to the rules around personal data and its use. To ensure effective compliance by 25 May 2018, your organisation needs to have managers in place who understand the requirements of the GDPR and are well equipped to plan, implement and maintain a compliance program. In some instances, there will also be a requirement for your organisation to appoint a suitably qualified and trained data protection officer (DPO).
This two-day EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) Foundation training course will provide you with a comprehensive introduction to the EU GDPR’s context terminology, legal requirements and compliance mechanisms. Privacy issues arising from an exponential growth in consumer and mobile technologies, an increasingly connected planet and mass cross-border data flows have pushed the EU to totally rethink its data protection legislation to ensure that these fundamental rights are fully protected in today’s digital economy.
Our GDPR training courses offer a structured learning path to equip management with the specialist knowledge and skills needed to deliver GDPR compliance and fulfill the role of the Data Protection Officer (DPO).
Delivered by experienced GDPR technical and legal consultants, our training sessions are built on the foundations of our extensive practical experience gained advising on GDPR compliance and its relationship with ISO 27001:2013 – Information Security Management Systems
It will help your organisation to avoid heavy fines and loss of reputation resulting from data breaches. You will learn from the experts how to implement and achieve full compliance to the EU General Data Protection Regulation.
