Overview

The Retail Academy is designed to provide training for all levels of retail employment. Our integrated training model combines traditional in-class lessons with off-job practical training sessions and on-job coaching to give you the most comprehensive training experience.
We offer a range of training courses, specifically designed for each level of retail employment. Each course provides participants with a combination of hard and soft skills so they can perform technical functions while effectively engage with customers. Each programme can be customized to meet the specific employer and learner context.

Trainer Bio

Makis Vasileiou is a former senior HR Leader backed by proven 25+ years tracked record in managing variety of human resources, specifically on retail and B2B businesses in both Greek companies and multinational as well.
He obtained his MBA in Kingston University of GB and Professional Pilot Diploma in Teterboro Flight Academy of USA.
His specialties mostly deal with all aspects of training, HR development, organization optimization, talent management, sales management and sales coaching. Therefore, he has extensive +15years experience in the training of business professionals of all levels and across industries and areas of specialty including colleagues and clients. Some of his most prominent courses include HR management, sales management and leadership skills. He also has developed consulting solutions and best practices on the areas of sales and HR, to both organizations and individuals who wanted to develop and grow their results.
For long, Makis has worked as Human Resources Director at Forthnet-Nova, Altec and as Training/Development Manager at Kotsovolos-Dixons. He also in his first career was Sales Executive possessing managerial positions specifically at Germanos, Kotsovolos-Dixons and Keranis Tobacco.
